292. There's an Aesop's fable called "The Golden Axe,"

293. and we're changing it and we're calling it "The Golden Shovel."

294. One day an honest construction worker...

295. accidentally dropped his shovel into the sewer.

296. He cried.

297. A magic alligator rose out and asked, "Why are you crying?"

298. "My only shovel fell into the sewer."

299. The alligator popped up with the golden shovel.

300. "Is this it?"

301. "Wow, that's beautiful, but it's not mine."

302. "Is this silver shovel yours?"

303. "Well, that is nice, but it's not mine."

304. "Is this rusty steel shovel yours?"

305. "Yes, that is my shovel.

306. Thanks."

307. The alligator was so pleased with his honesty

308. that he gave him all three shovels.

309. Another construction worker wanted a golden shovel, too.

310. He threw his shovel down the sewer and tried to look sad.

311. The alligator appeared and said, "Why are you sad?"

312. "Because my shovel fell into the sewer."

313. "Is this golden shovel yours?"

314. The worker replied, "Yes, yes, that is my shovel"

315. and tried to grab it.

316. When the alligator heard the construction worker's answer,

317. he disappeared with the golden shovel and was never seen again.
