37. because I don't write the paper, I just distribute it.

38. - That is so funny given what I have next.

39. A fisherman hawks their catch of the day.

40. - Ugh, I got a whole batch of nothin'!

41. Fish are all gone!

42. It's just water out there!

43. - Two old women gossip on a nearby porch.

44. - Did you hear about the fish?

45. - Did you hear about Gladys?

46. Sorry, your things sounds bigger.

47. - No, I heard that Gladys stole the fish.

50. - Welcome to the mountain slash seaside town of Mountport.

53. Theater, I suppose.

54. And like so many musicals,

55. ours begins with a group number

56. to introduce you, the audience, to town.

110. Old woman main suspect.

112. - Hi, yeah, my name's Alexa, I'm new to town.

113. I'm trying to join the Mountport baseball team.

114. - Yeah, it's called Mountport.

115. - I'll get it one of these days.

116. - You gotta be careful.

118. everyone in the town's gonna rag on you immediately.

119. - Yeah, yeah, I picked that up.

154. - As we reveal the other side of town, downtown Mountport.

155. It's not nearly as wholesome, center of industry.

156. A businessperson talks loudly on a cell phone.

157. - If the stocks are breaking the roof by midday,

158. I don't want to hear about it.

159. - Two drivers yell at each other from their automobiles.

160. - Get outta here! - Hey, you get outta here!

161. - A busker sings and plays beat up guitar for spare change.

162. - Hey man, this is my corner!

163. - Oh.

164. - Two buskers go head to head.

165. - And on the top of Mountport's only skyscraper,

166. we meet our villain.

167. Allow them to introduce themselves.

168. - It's me, Tina Johnson,

169. the nastiest woman in all of Mountport.

170. I used to be in a big ol' tree,

171. and I said to myself, that's not high enough!

172. I can't be as mean as I want to be in a tree.

173. I must move to a skyscraper.

174. - Just then, our villain's assistant

175. strolls through the door.

176. - Uh, hi boss.

177. So I got the sort of new, uh,

178. the new readouts on the skyscraper.

179. We can't build it any higher than it is now.

180. - What do you mean, Pinocchio?

181. - Well, I- - I want to scrape the sky!

182. - Yeah, I know, boss, but if we build it any higher,

183. it's gonna put a big shadow on the baseball field below.

184. - That's my ultimate plan!

185. I want them playing in total darkness!

186. - Now in a scene that will eventually turn into a song,

187. we hear about how the villain could foil our heroes' plans.

188. If our players want, for an extra point,

189. they are welcome to incorporate the phrase,

190. "I am a professional."

191. - I'm going to tell you something.

192. You know the legend of the baseball playing,

193. traveling, baseball-playing kid who can change the world?

194. - The one who is foretold

195. to come to this town and change everything?

197. - And your reign will be toppled should they arrive?

215. like I'm so caught up in your guys' performances

235. a conductor calls out what stop is next.

237. - This should be interesting.

238. An attendant takes tickets from passengers.

239. - This is a ticket to Seattle.

240. I don't get paid enough to care.

241. - Two gossiping old ladies are en route.

242. - I'm so glad we're finally getting out.

243. - I had to get away, and honestly,

244. Palm Springs is 110 this time of year

245. and I could not be more thrilled.

246. - You know what I needed?

247. I needed to dry out my bones.

248. - I need a swim-up bar.

249. I need cards that could catch fire

250. from the sun at any moment. - Uh-huh.

251. - But in one train car, our hero and our villain...

252. Are about to meet.

253. And in a scene that will at some point graduate to song,

254. a confrontation takes place.

255. If our players are so inclined,

259. They said this car still had an opening,

274. - I made the baseball team at Mountport, which is huge.

308. - The intersection of uptown and downtown Mountport.

309. The conductor calls out the stop.

310. - Mountport Station.

311. The same place that we left from a week ago,

312. and then waited for Palm Springs in a week and came back.

313. Yes, it's the same train.

314. Yes, we haven't been anywhere in the meantime.

315. - Hi ho to you!

316. - Hi ho to you.

317. Oh, got a local over here.

318. - The newsie sells newspapers to passersby.

319. - Extra, extra, fish still gone!

320. Tina in her big, tall building, number one suspect,

321. pinning it on Ethel, a old lady from way before

322. whose name you may or may not remember, wrongfully accused.

323. Now Tina expected to be behind all wrongdoing in Mountport.

324. - Our busker plays guitar, hoping for a coin or two.

325. - Hey. - Hey.

326. - I've been on this corner for a long time.

327. - Yeah.

328. - Take my guitar.

329. - Take your guitar?

330. - Play it well, I quit.

331. Thanks.

332. - This is really compelling.

333. - Thank you.

334. Wait, give me that back.

335. - That's right, I allow room for impromptu songs.

341. here are our two old ladies again.

342. - Here was the thing I didn't like about Palm Springs.

349. - I'm not gonna start now.

368. You see that skyscraper?

369. It's even taller now,

370. and there's a shadow all over in the baseball field.

371. - Yeah, listen, I was thinking,

372. it's really hard to build a structure that fast.

373. - Sure is.

374. - And I mean, in a week it's gotten a few stories taller.

375. It got me thinking.

376. It must not be, like, made of official materials in any way.

377. - Absolutely not.

378. She doesn't like building regulations,

379. so she actively builds it in a way

380. that is not earthquake-safe.

381. - Okay, I think I have a plan to take it down.

382. - Oh, that's great,

383. because we're all way too scared to stand up to Tina.

384. - Pinocchio, build it higher!

449. I just got caught up in the legend and the prophecy.

452. because I always wanted to be a train conductor.

454. that went from a mountain sea town

455. to the middle of the desert.

456. - Very specific. - Yes, that was my dream.

460. dropped dead from eating too much tuna fish.

473. That's the time for the big baseball game to start.

475. What can you do on the baseball field?

476. - And the first pitch goes out from Alexa.

477. Alexa now run back to the diamond, at home plate,

478. and the first swing, it's Alexa!

480. - The ball is going straight into the remnants

481. of Tina's tower, and boom!
